Booking Conditions

  • Commercial vehicles/vans, with or without sign writing, are not permitted. Bookings are taken with the assumption that a car is being used with tent and caravan pitches. If you are unsure about the vehicle you are bringing please mention it when booking to avoid being turned away on arrival.
  • Awnings & Canopies must be declared when booking and are subject to the availability of larger pitches. 
  • Gazebos are not permitted.
  • Windbreaks are only permitted at the discretion of the site warden and must be booked in advance. Additional charge may be applied if this changes the size of your pitch.
  • Electric hook-up pitches for Motorhomes, Caravans & Trailer tents - units must be protected by an RCD within trip switch with a test button fitted within the Motorhome, Caravan or Trailer tent . The electric cable needs to be 25 metres and should be uncoiled completely and laid flat on the ground, if possible under the Motorhome or caravan. Separate requirements for tents are shown below.
  • Tents requiring electric hook-up are only taken at the discretion of the site warden subject to availability. Tents must have an approved proprietary mains hook up unit with an RCD breaker and test button with a minimum cable length of 15 metres. The picture below shows an example of an approved mobile mains unit.



              

 






The final decision to provide electric for tents will be made on arrival after inspecting the cable.

  • Arrivals times during Covid 19 will be explained when booking
  • Departure is before 11:00am.
  • If you require an earlier arrival time or wish to depart later this must be booked in advance. This is only available at the discretion of the site warden subject to availability. Additional charges apply.
  • Visitors - Must be pre- booked and solely at the Wardens discretion, maximum numbers apply, between 11am & 7pm up to 4 hours. Additional cars must be parked off site. Please see the Prices page for the cost for visitors.
  • Failing to comply with the 'Booking Terms & Conditions' may result in you being refused entry without any refund given.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission.



Deposit

A deposit is required at the time of booking. This deposit is non-refundable or transferable.

  • Deposits vary according to the dates you want to book & the number of nights you are booking. For more details please ask when enquiring or booking.
  • For group bookings the full amount is payable in advance  and is non-refundable or transferable.

Cancellation Policy

  • We do not offer any refund of deposits paid in advance.
  • If you leave early we do not offer any refund of fee's already paid.
  • Please note that you must pay in full on arrival for all the nights that you have pre booked even if you don't want to stay for them all. The only exception is if you have agreed in advance with us to shorten your stay.



Campsite General Rules

All our rules are in place so that everyone on the site can enjoy their stay with us. We reserve the right to ask anyone breaking the rules to leave without refund.

  • Behaviour & noise  - should not cause a nuisance to other campers or our neighbours. Noise should be appropriate to the time of day and quiet must be observed between 10:30pm and 7am. 
  • Vehicles - please drive with care both within the site and along the drive leading to the site. The maximum speed is 5 mph.
  • Fires & BBQ's - Open fires are not permitted and only bbq coals can be used for BBQ's. Please ensure BBQ's are raised off the ground to avoid scorching the grass.
  • CARBON MONOXIDE CAN KILL, never use a fuel burning appliance inside your tent or awning, even a warm barbeque can be lethal.
  • Games & Bikes -  To prevent damage to property or injury's bikes are not to ridden around the site also Ball games, Frisbees etc are not permitted but can be played in the adjacent park.
  • Pets - Well behaved pets are welcome as long as they are not a nuisance to others and kept under control. Pets are not allowed in the building. Dogs must be on a lead or runner at all times within the site and walked in the park not around the campsite. Please make sure that you clean up after your pet.
  • Shoes - Please keep your shoes inside at night as we have Foxes who like to play with them seldom returning them in the morning.
